More national newspaper nonsense

where are they being marketed as smoking cessation aids? I'm sure that's a lie. bloody papers!

Read a report earlier from British dental association stating ecigs weren't any better than nrt at curing smokers and that they had been proven to get tobacco usage to increase. I got bored after reading the headline so could have the article wrong, which proves that lousy journalism leads to illiteracy.

You know it's gonna be a load of shite just from the headline.
MAY encourage. What the fuck does may prove?
I MAY get called up to the England world cup squad. But I wont.
I MAY watch Emmerdale tonight. But I wont.
I MAY buy The Independent tomorrow. But I wont.
I MAY rub luncheon meat into my testies, stand naked in the middle of a lake and shout, here fishy fishes. But I wont.

Honestly, I don't see the problem with them attracting young people. Why is this such an issue? It will only ever attract the ones that would have smoked otherwise. And when we finally establish that they are safe, then I don't see why they can't use them?
If chewing gum would have been invented today, it would never have made it to the market!

Seems fair - it was lovely and sunny here today, still a bit nippy mind (and I don't mean the fish!)

A lot of people are now using vaping devices in quit attempts (I seem to remember seeing a report that said vaping has overtaken traditional NRT as the most popular quit attempt method). Whilst vaping devices might not be marketed as official quit aids, it appears that large sections of the public perceive them to be quit aids and the press are doing their usual half arsed lazy journalism bit and taking this perception to be fact.
