Once people get into building rtas they tend to buy more than they would stock coil tanks as once you have your wire and cotton there's no extra coils to think of if you see a new tank you like the look of.

1 spool of wire and a bag of labo if its for mtl is all you need for as many rtas as you want.

Also in many cases the older your stock coil tank gets the harder it gets to find coils for them untill there almost impossible to find.

Its incredibly annoying these days especially where things are released then discontinued immediately, if i were a cynic i would say to force everyone to keep buying replacements all the time.

Oh wait, i am a cynic

I agree with all the above @Ceiticbassman,

I’ve never bought a coil in over ten years now. Always built my own, you will save a small fortune.

That’s why coils don’t last or you get faulty one’s, so you have to buy more.

Then they get discontinued so you’ve got to get another tank.

It’s a vicious circle and the only way you can win is build you own mate.

it may take a little time to get into the swing off things but you will get there.

When you get your wire if you get any problems, just come on here and there will be always someone that will help you out.

And enjoy your journey:2thumbsup:

@Celticbassman :) Could you place an order to a shop in Belfast that I believe holds stocks of wire etc?

Google has thrown up a few in Eire

It has a shelf life certainly, but.... You "should" be OK for a couple of years? :)

Just a thought on stock coils, Nautilus coils for example have been around for years and just about every vape shop stocks them.

I think e-liquid has a best before date on it, at least the stuff I buy does.
