Yes, I have, but only on gallon orders. You get a notification from the courier company and pay it before they make delivery. I cant remember exactly how much the fees were, but they were definitely under £15, which, in effect only adds a couple of quid per litre when buying larger volumes.

All I would say is EXPECT fees when you buy from outside the EU and build them into your costs, especially with DHL and FedEx, and once you have paid for the first time, expect it to happen every other time too. Also remember that there may be a handling fee on top too.

Whatever the charges are, it still makes the base juices cheaper than anything else I have bought.

As a thought, I'll try and do a estimation table for VAT and Duty fees for the various volumes available from overseas. Hopefully will be able to post it up within a few hours.

Just to give people an idea, I have used a duty calculator to work out what fees to expect. They are only intended as a guide, but if you work them into your calculations when costing out your order, you will have a good idea of what your overall cost will be.

Also remember many carriers will also charge an admin fee. Check out their UK websites for information.

500ml PG or VG liquid base should attract NO duty or VAT.
1 litre PG or VG liquid base should attract NO duty but approximately £9 VAT
4 litre PG or VG liquid base should attract NO duty buy approximately £25 VAT

As I said, regard this purely as guidance, as I paid £15 on a 4 litre order.
