Have you tried the lid the other way round? looks a bit short at the top and longer at the bottom. Still nice work tho, them buttons are definitely red lol

Hammond boxes can also be shit,I have 3 & 1 has several dents from RM travel,1 has several "holes" that seem to fill with black shite & the 3rd has a reasonably sound outer with very few dents/marks/holes but the lid is a lousy fit.I've tried swapping the lids around but it didn't help.

That looks a tidy box mod,especially compared to mine.

Nice one thanks, you sparked me off looking for them. I ordered some of the Fat Daddy ones last night from the same place! I like the look of the Varitube ones, I will try and pick some of those up then they come back in stock.

Spent the best part of a day putting this together .... PITA
The parts did not fit to my liking so out came the files and sand paper
And those TINY self tapping screws are crap
