My New Pocket Rocker Mod

Nice one seedy! Is good to have a small form mod for when your on the run...bet your tempted to make another in wood :D

Insides are looking very neat using that pcb.

Did you bridge the connections with solder?

Only problem is i've seen various methods to use them, so im wondering which to learn first :P

I'm assuming its pcb you sell, i'm tempted to grab some to play with!
Yeah. Its messy underneath the PCB. I bent the pins of the resistor around the pins of the MOSFET and then soldered. Not sure if there's a better way. Any experts out there?

@Seedy on your V1 diagram you show the + from USB connected with center pin and switch ? Is that correct ? Surely that would fire the Atty if you connected a USB ? Or have I missed something.

No, it's only connected when the switch is open.

Very nice @Seedy. Is it strong plastic, could it take a night out with the lads?? Those boxes something you might be selling in the shop ??

It feels sturdy enough to me. Not sure if i can find the supplier. I'll see what I can find out.

No, it's only connected when the switch is open.

Sorry maybe I'm being a bit dense here,

On a normal box mod without fet you would go positive battery to switch and switch to center pin, the way you have the V1 diagram you have positive running to the switch and then the fet but no positive comes from the fet to the center pin ?

Looking at diagram positive comes straight from battery to center pin with the switch acting as on / off for the fet and USB meaning its hot / live constant ?

The fet is closed until the switch is pressed so the negative is not connected to the Atty until the switch is pressed.

Nice work Ric, love the battery contacts. What fet are you using and have you got it in stock yet?

Cool, will keep an eye out and maybe get a few of you, i remember fasteddie600 had a few issues with single a single battery on the old ones you used to stock. Do you still have them btw, thinking of revamping my old rizla tin with the LM board, see if i can get it a bit warm :)
