Hi all,

I've had my Protank ii a good few months now but one problem that always remains is that it leaks into the spot where the mouthpiece sits! Doesn't leak anywhere else just there. It's not a hassle to clean out it's just I've lost quite a bit of liquid from it :25: any help would be really appreciated!

Jason.

Hi Jason,
although I havent seen your protank leaking, its most likely not a leak.
Its condensation.
Our devices warm up the liquid into a vapour, then it travels up and progressively cools down before it reaches your mouth, and then clings to the surfaces. Eventually, there's enough to form a drop.

Its the same problem as the rear windscreen on a car has on a cold day...water vapour clings to the inside because of the heat difference.

Haven't thought about it like that! :hmm: It does take a hour or two to build up sometimes and I do chain vape so that could be why.. Thanks!

Try a different drip tip, I get a medium amount of build up on my PT2 with the metal drip tip, a lot from a bad fitting plastic one and pretty much none from one that fits well

I've had something similar to this too, could be condensation but it could also be leaking into your head and spitting the juice up. I rebuilt a coil with too little wick a while ago and ended up drinking juice, yuk!

Go to you tube. They have videos on everything to do with vapeing. If it's gurgling then you need to add more wick. Every day or two I have to use a q-tip to get the condensation out of mouthpiece and center tube.

yup condensation buddy i get it too as i tend to chain vape.

Yes I get this too, if it really bothers you, which presumably is since you made this post, use a cotton bud as far down as the top of the coil head, every so often, that'll pick up any moisture... careful though, don't go to far though or it'll suck your juice and mess wick that sits on top of the coil (unless you removed it to get more vapour/flavour), sorry Bubbamann already said this...:imstupid

I agree with other posters. It's most likely condensation.
