Nautilus problem

Wished i seen this earlier..cos the same thing almost happened to me recently with my Nautilus mini. Not so much that the pin was 'lost' as such, but the tiny contact bit in the base broke off, so the coil was no longer connecting or 'earthing' properly. You can replacement easily for a variety of places, in my case, i picked a new one from reputable Ebay vendor by the name of ejuicy..cost me £3.99 free postage. Bit pricey for a tiny 510 pin & seal...but it fixed the problem.

Not sure which tank MrDj is refering to, regarding screwing the contact pin, but on the Nautilus Mini, the 510 contact pin just pushes in/out, it's the seal that keeps it in..the other Nautilus tanks might be different though.

I wonder if you would be kind enough to post a link to where I can buy the new pin, please?

Worded wrong. I meant the pin in the 510 screw in connection.

I didn't know it would pop out as both mine never moved.

Hi Pobby....the vendor i got mine from seems to be currently sold out..but no worries, as these little pins are available from loads of other vendors. I suspect one can get them from the many of the vendors on here too..but for reference purposes...it's called a connector pin, which comes with a new seal (i think one needs to put the seal in the base first, then push the pin in). Have a look at this ebay page of another vendor selling them - PS: this pin is for the Nautilus Mini tank, and may not fit the other Nautilus tanks (not sure which tanks you've got), so look around for the right one, if this isn't your tank..the others are also available from various vendors:

As you can see, one can buy seperate components individually if required..have a shop around on ebay..or elsewhere..you may find a better deal with another vendor.

Hope this sorts your problem out.

Ah gotcha, yeh i don't think thats what pobby meant. I've not had that tiny pin come out either..just broke inside the base...but they are a pretty tight fit....i'm surprised that pobby has managed to lose two of them!
