Need help with Boots VG

So I've been having wicking issues in my Tugboat clone for ages now, and as i decided to sort of out my vapers tongue I tried some max VG by 8bit. It wicked fine.

Does anyone else have problems with max vg boots stuff wicking in drippers?

I don't use drippers but I do use boots vg to mix my liquid. I tend to thin out the vg with water at a ratio of roughly 80% vg and 20% water before I mix the liquids. This seems to help a lot with wicking in RBAs.

I just use tap water but I know some folk recommend distilled water... been using tap water for a while now and I'm not quite dead just yet, at least on the outside.

i mix at 70vg/30pg with boots vg & havent had any issues in my origen v2 or storm but then its not max vg, it even wicks quite well in my KFL+ at that ratio. (i use muji cotton as wick)

Ah, thanks. I ordered some chefs vapour VG, hopefully that offers an improvement...

I use Boots VG in my RDA, with 4mm voodoo wool wicks and even down at 0.14 or up at 2 ohms I have no issues getting the juice to flow.

Yeah I'm using japanese cotton. Even with the tails flooded with juice, it just doesn't wick too the coil. The wick isn't too tight to the coil either.


I'm off to halfords to get some fancy water now, wish me luck... hopefully this will solve my problems.

NO. Do not use halfords for water. Full of shite. Get sterilised water. Its used in hospital and made pure. Get it from fleabay. Or you could try vodka.
