So here I am, Smoked for 35 years, stopped for ten, started again a year ago and then switched to vaping. I first tried Vype ePod. It was ok, a reasonable substitute for cigarettes, but I wanted something a little better - more battery life and refillable. So I bought a Blu Pro 2, which is fine, but the clearomizers are SO expensive and of late, don't last very long. Not only that, but the last three I have bought have been defective with the wick being visible in the tube itself. At £5 - £7.50 a pop, this is just not good enough. So, I bought myself a Smok vape pen V2, but I didn't like that either - way too much vapour and probably too powerful for me. With the Smok, even the tightest draw filled my mouth with too-hot vapour and it constantly leaked despite replacing all the gaskets and o-rings. Rethink time.
So, last week, I was advised to go and see someone who sells all things vape, and I did just that. I wound up with a Innokin Jem, and . . . . I don't like it. First of all, it leaks. I took all the gaskets off and replaced them with the spares, watching Youtube vids to make sure I didn't miss anything important. It still leaks and I always end up spitting out fluid. I will stay with the Vype for 'stealth' vaping in the office, but I need something for home.

I think that of the ones I have tried, operation wise I prefer the Blu, but I am not happy with the accessories at all. The Jem feels cheap and plasticky to me (after the solid weight and apparent quality of the Blu). I'm not a cloud chaser, I am a nicotine addict. I don't want to be bothered with something big and technical, though I do like the option of air-flow adjustment so I can choose between mouth to lung or direct. The heat adjustment is irrelevant to me though.

I would be grateful if anyone could point me in the right direction of something that vapes something like a Blu Pro 2, has an air intake control, is refillable and doesn't cost the earth to maintain. All and suggestions will be very welcome :)

i started with blu cig a like and then the blu pro which finally helped me quit my 37 year habit overnight.
have to agree though their heads are rather shite and made purpously to leak after a couple of months so you buy more. then i found these that are 100 times better with a real dual screw in coil so you dont need to buy the whole head unit but only a pack of coils www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=vapouriz+fuse&i=drugstore&ref=nb_sb_noss_1

now these used to fit the blu pro perfectly so those sneaky bastages at blu decided to reverse the screw thread so you had to buy their clearo heads.

coils cheaper here www.vapouriz.co.uk/fuse-replacement-dual-coil.html

Hello mate
For me the best tank for MTL vaping I found was the fireluke 22 or gtx 18 both which can be brought in kits freemax twister 30W or gtx one kit.

For me fireluke 22 wins it and comes with lots if airflow options so you can get a really nice MTL MTL cigarette type pull on it and a decent little tube mod with variable wattage and lots of coil options.

But I'm sure theres plenty of other choices that people will have too

Good luck with choosing and dont give up it's all trial and error

Hi

Ok i haven't used the Blu devices so cannot really compare.

I have used many pod devices and all in one kits and i prefer mtl with occasional dtl.

Some recommendations:

Wenax by Geekvape. You can use seperate liquid and change the coils,

Voopoo V Suit again you can replace coils and juice.

GTX one kit. Takes all the gtx range and has good adjustable AF

Fireluke 22 tank Again great AF and coil range.

Check out the review section as there are reviews on all of these.

I’ve only got experience of one pod, the innokin endura m18, which I won in one of @DeeDee aka (Pod Queen) ’s giveaways.

I think it’s great, no faff, doesn’t leak and although the battery is a little small it charges fast.

for £20 it’s well worth a punt. It’s a tasty vape but doesn’t Chuck huge plumes of vapour at you.
