Hello all

I've got a problem with a nemesis (not a clone).

After a bit of use, the threads just seem to stick (mole grips + pricey mod = scratches .... I now know this to my cost)

Is this as simple as heated up expanding metal? Or are there dark forces at work?

One of they wide rubber bands around the metal next time, keep something between the mole and the ring....

A good swab with say the alcohol hand wipe stuff, dry off then rub a 2 or 4B pencil over the threads.

Personally, I blame evil pixies when it happens to me! :D

I am not being funny as the last thing I would want to do is scratch a genuine product but have you tried the good old faithful under the sink marigolds to help twist it open?

Get the threads clean and use noalox, contralube or graphite as suggested above

Contralube is better imho as is conductive, not easy to find these days though noalox used sparingly is fine buddy

Cheers folks. I do find myself cleaning it every couple of days anyway so adding some lubricant to the ritual shouldn't be a biggie.

Be aware that Noalox is mildly abrasive so not too much and not too often. Tis good gear though.
A set of vapegrips are invaluable for sticky threads on both mods and atties. You can getbthem from AuroraVapeUK on facebook.

When my clones jam, I find removing the atty first loosens things up.
Sorry if this is too obvious.
