I am aware that you are already wet tho, just not taken the full step to salty yet.

You know I'm gagging for it! I had a look around the salty box the other night at the pico tanks as I really want some sexy shrimp but I think my fluval spec might be too small, especially as a starter tank. I'm guessing I'd have to be bang on the perimeters the whole time and there ain't a busting amount of room for a tropical heater let alone anything else!

my advice Michelle, is to get as big as you can afford, as a rule larger tanks are more stable .. Especially for a starter till you get the hang of the params.

when you have a big one stable you can use the water from it to do regular water changes on a pico, that's how I'd do it anyway

I've not tried a mini vivi, but general comments show that its not as good as the bigger versions?

Theyre twice the price but you also get 3 new heads with it and replacement heads are half the price of the Visions

Good info on the price of the replacement heads. The 3 heads are if different ohms though, I guess this does change the taste.

So, should I be looking at anything else too?

Cool, do you have an experience with the CE5? Interested in a comparison.

I have used the ce5, much prefer the vivi nova mini over it, yet to try a t3 but have heard good things

To get back into the issue in hand, I like the CE5 (apart from the one that leaked on the outside and killed my Innokin VV 510 and dont worry I have a new one on order now) I find the flavour on the CE5 to be very good and the size is great for daily use. However for home use and those glasses of whisky and cosy armchair moments the Nova would work much better as they hold more yummy ejuice. No reason why you dont buy both and see how they work. You could keep on for a backup perhaps?
