I think we've been incredibly spoilt for our lifetime.

Too right, despite Thatcher and my own wrong choices - made plenty of them the 80s were mostly awesome. Plus the 90s were pretty bloody good as well, England was a good place to live. Probably still is, or could be, if you're healthy, loaded or comfortable.

I'd rather be poor and ill in England than pretty much any other country in the world tbh. A couple of European countries come close, but there are other barriers with those.

I'm not ill though, and while not exactly dirt poor I'm more "make do" than "well off".

If I was truly loaded, it'd be a different matter - I'd likely be elsewhere...

Yup, I'm pretty fed up at the moment and only 54. Struggling to do the thing's I did when I was younger and stronger with no joint pain. Hate the way the likes of big companies, government etc are screwing over the "working man" and making a pile of money for themselves in the process. Bet you 99% of the useless fuckers can't even wire a plug themselves. Waste of skin, the lot of them.

As for the self entitled lot that are continually moaning and trying to cancel shit from the climate change crowd to the BLM knobs to the "there's more than 2 genders " fuckwits. Well I've had enough of it. Fucking pathetic.
