What's new

New Covid strain spreading across the UK that's less likely to cause symptoms

When the negative consequences of a choice far outweigh the positive then the perception of choice is a mirage.

all choices have consequences. what one considers an acceptable negative consequence of a choice is subjective.

on a different note, the scottish news had a guy from edinburgh university who’s saying his study confirms omicron is less severe. he’s found that the chances of severe illness are 2/3 less likely compared with delta. it’s not peer reviewed yet, mind.

to clarif, what he said is the chance of hospitalisation is 2/3 less. still potentially good news i reckon. :)

Just catching up on the last few pages on this thread. Some comments crack me up, not cause they are shit or anything just funny.

As Andi said, I have no idea how i would have been affected without the 2 jabs, all i know is i was dog rough for a long time, not the 7 to 14 days most harp on about. The effect on my mental health was a struggle which I'm still battling, cannot explain why but I'm told it goes for your weak areas, my body was fine as in no major back or joint aches, my symptoms:

  • Bad cold
  • Chest infection
  • Severe fatigue
  • Breathlessness
  • Lack of smell and taste
  • I went a bit mental well, more than normal
Its been 9 weeks since i tested positive. I am feeling much better but when I hear people say, oh its just a bad cold i want to kill them with a blunt knife slowly! LoL Why we all have different experiences with it I do not know, my dad had the least symptoms and he is 78 and has a heart condition....go figure! I had it the worst out of 7 of us but Im a large girly, ex smoker thats it.

I agree with many comments on here, the data needs to be more specific now, its been nearly 2 years for fucks sake! The media just want to scare people, i feel its hard to rely on most of what i read.

Bollocks CUNTY Covid! Fuck you!

BUT im alive, get to see my husband everyday, speak and see my family, enjoy my food etc....so yeah i will personally continue to be jabbed as im too scared not too. Thats just me
