Hi everyone I'm new here and newish to vaping I am using the arc 5 battery and cs air slim tank but I'm not to impressed with it to be fair
It always fills with liquid at the top and no vapour really
I'm looking to upgrade to a better tank but I'm lost what to get
I'm not familiar with all the terms of of different things but I dont think I need a direct to lung 1 yet just the normal 1 who can help me thanks

Welcome to the forum. As you are not into direct to lung vaping then Innokin Zenith/Slide tank is the way to go. Just spotted a pretty good deal: https://www.theelectroniccigarette.co.uk/innokin-adept.html
Also don't forget to check out New Users Corner section and it's stickies.

Thanks for that looks good but the problem I have (which I should of mentioned earlier sorry my bad) is the CD slim I'm using with 50 50 0.6mg is pretty harsh on my throat so would I need to change the liquid for more vg or lower strength or something else maybe not sure
But the slide cant go above 50 50 so dont know what my options are

Buy 3mg juice in that flavour you are vaping, try that and if it's not hitting the spot add a drop or two of your 6mg juice, shake or rotate your mod a few times then vape. Keep doing that til you find what works for you.

You may be able to do 60/40 vg/Pg.

For shear simplicity and effectiveness...the Innokin Zenith is a hard one to beat...just so easy to set up and use. The coils are pretty long lived, rediculously easy to change over (just spin ff the bottom retainer, pull out old coil, push in new one, and spin retainer back on) & best of all, it's a top filler too. The Zenith is here in the UK as a TPD 2ml, but i bought the 4ml version from Le Petite Vapotuer, https://www.lepetitvapoteur.com/en/clearomisers/4532-zenith-clearomiser-innokin.html. Service is excellent, and if you chuck in a couple packs of coils in, to take the cost to around 30 Euros, and you get free fast delivery too. I also got cute freebies with delivery! Coils available are 1.6, 0.8 & the 0.5 Plex.

As you're a MTL vaper, i recommend the 1.6 ohm coils, which is what i use....they're bulletproof. I can often get several weeks out of one, if i don't cane it. The only issue you might have with the Zenith, is it's size. The Zlide is 22mm, the Zenith is 24.7mm, and i think the Arc 5 is only about 20mm wide, so there would be a overlap alas.

But if you get bigger battery mod sometime (most vapers have more than one....i have loads!)..then defo try the Zenith out sometime...it's a nice performer.

As for the harshness, you're experince, that could down to the nicotine strenght. Most newbies (including myself when i started last year)...will need to play around with the different ratios, flavours and nic strenghts, until you find something that works for you.

Incidentally, the Zenith works comfortably with thicker juices upto 70VG max...but i use 50/50 myself.

One other tank you could try, is Aspire Nautilus....either the original 5ml, the 2ml narrow Mini, or 2S. Along with the Zenith...i would say these these are still pretty unbeatable in terms of performance. I started with the Nauty 2, then got a 2ml Mini..and now i use an original 5ml, imported from China. That one is still my daily user. The only negatives i would say against the Aspire BVC coils, is the durability, which can be a little fickle at times, depending on whether you get a duff pack or not. But for performance the old fashioned Nautilus original is still the MTL daddy imo.

So...as you're a newbie..i'll stick to recommending the Zenith..when you've got a bigger mod for it! :)2

Ok guys thank you for all ur advice I'll get a new mod when I get some cash and I'll order a new tank now

Are you vaping to give up the stinkies? Do you like the throat hit or are you wanting the nicotine over everything? If you are after high nicotine and dont want the harshness on your throat I'd recommend trying a 10ml bottle of 20mg nic salt juice, it's a lot smoother and doesn't give you the throat hit but will deliver the nicotine, juice recommendations depends what flavours you like totally wicked dont get the best following on here

IF you order from Le Petit Vapoteur a Zenith & swanky mod....

https://www.lepetitvapoteur.com/en/aegis-mini/5916--zenith-aegis-mini-kit.html

***** REGISTER FIRST coz prices drop for reg users *****
(Zenith coils are €1:79, but €1:49 if logged in)

that damn fine kit is €39:08 (free delivery - about 3~4 days)

BUT using code: HALLOWEEN20 = 20% off so €31:26 (free delivery + earn €3 in points)
(what's that say £28 for a robust waterproof 80w TC Aegis mod & 4ml Zenith)

very much doubt if you can get a verstile & easy to use bit of kit cheaper

as for liquid, you can always dilute it with a bit of vg - Boots Glycerin to take the edge off

of course you dilute some edgey juice you dilute nicotine AND flavour
but costs fuck all to dip your toe into basics of mixing etc....
stretches your juice a bit further & might help take the edge off some juices

Though you need to ensure if giving up the fags you get your nicotine fix
so don't go too low or dilute loads to begin with

There are much better liquids than TW!

If you are on a tight budget look at the 88vape range, it's sold in the pound-type shops, they are also a vender on POTV and do discounts, they also have special offers on their website.

Many of us use them, I've been using them for over a year (menthol and menthol chill), could even be two years now, put 88vape in the search box and you will see for yourself how long-term vapers are quite taken with some of the flavours.
