Welcome to PotV fellow cloud chaser, im currently running a Nemesis and Trident clone with dual coil quad twist 28AWG 4 wrap around a 2mm precision screwdriver running at 0.2ohms. looking at getting a patriot clone so i can play with drilling out patterns on the top cap and the posts for 20AWG when i get round to buying some

Very nice ! Patriot clone is definitely worth it. May I ask how you do with a Trident? I had one and the air holes were too small for my taste haha

yeah i drilled it out within a day or 2 of having it, im currently running dual 3mm airholes for dual coil and a single 3mm for single coil running it at 0.19-0.21ohms currently. its only a clone so i wasnt too bothered about drilling it. did you ever try running it without the control ring on at all? loads of airflow then lol

No I didn't... How would I do that? I have a v1 I think so the control ring is what connected the 2 caps together or else it would just fall haha

oh right the v2 has a removable control ring so you can just leave it off when you put it together. i could do with a new control ring actually as i slipped a little bit when drilling it and it shewed up the side of one of the holes lol

It's still working great just doesn't look that best, I've got an Omega clone and an orieco storm - a, trident v2 is my favourite so far performance wise, just a shame it's not 22mm. Might order a patriot from FT, I'm good to wait for a while
