new mixer questions

you can add sweetener at any time...so probably wait till you've tried it.
i'd keep everything your adding to custard at really low %'s.
If need be you can add more later...same as sweetener.

My banana custard is 1.5% banana(gonna cut it to 1%next )
Double choc is 0.5-1%
Tbh..i've not managed anything nice with raspberry(perfumers i think).
Saw a thread recently about skittles...dunno if it was this forum though...

i dont really like custard to be honest lol. but i do like rhubarb and custard so thought mixing it like you say with probably 1.5% of other flavers might work for me.
ive just been reading about em and wondered if you used it as many say they add 1 drop to every mix?

Em's a dangerous thing....it's got its own flavour(candy floss) so you've got to bear that in mind.
Currently i'm adding 1 drop em per 10ml to anything that has sharp flavours in it..ie fruit....and 1 drop sweetener.
Seems to take a couple of days for em to steep/mix...whereas straight sweetener seems to be pretty immediate.
Someone of more experience will come along soon..mibe

I've never used any sweeteners with my mixes, just flavours, which I think bring enough sweetness to the mix

i'm just using ag and 6-20(max)% flavouring

ey up twoeyedbob im afraid youve turned into my go to guru for mixing. hope im not too much of a pain.

what sort of ratio do you mix at? i normaly vape premixed at 80/20 70.30 pg/vg but ive mixed mine at 50/50.
just wondering if i should make the same batch again but this time at 70pg 30vg im wondering if the taste will be muted at 50/50? but i want some decent vapour production also.
