I have been vaping for quite some time now and have concluded that Nic Salts @20mg nicotine is the right mix for me.
In ignorance I had bought some 50ml bottles short fill and added 10ml of 20mg salt nix shots but these have not been giving me the same hit . i increased that to 20ml ( same problem but a massive lot of flavour). My question is , Is it possible I can replicate the 10ml salts i am used to by using the shortfills or would I have to go completely diy with concentrated flavourings.
If the answer is the latter could I use concentrates to suppliment the short fills to make up for then loss of flavour?

Do you want your final mix to be 20mg?

If so then you are stuck with buying 10ml bottles and vaping those.

As the nic shots of 10 ml in a 50ml short fill will dilute the final mix to 3mg/ml.

short answer is the the 20mg shot in you 50ml made 60ml 3mg added your other shot 6mg , give or take as it a 20mg shot not 18 (3.2/6.4)

your choices are , diy from scratch, or buy the 10ml salts , for what you've put there, as there's a "limit" on the nic you can buy
There is a another potential way to get close to what you need but it wouldn't be exact'y bang on

There must me a correct ratio of pg/vg flavouring and nicotine in the 10ml pre -made bottles but i'm presuming the short fills are already a dillution of sorts so trying to get what |I want from them is probably impossible. Starting from scratch may be a solution but I've got a rather large number of short fills that are probably of no use to me. I've read that to get 1l of 3mg strength nicotine I'd need to add 150 bottles of Nic Salt shot , 300 for 6ml and 900 for 18mg. ie 9 for 10ml or 90 for a 100ml bottle so this is impractable not to mention very expensive. If I choose to go diy from scratch what ratios would I need to use to arrive at my desired formula. obviously generalising when it come to the flavouring?

What is your target final mg? You still haven't told us, or is 20mg the strength you want to vape?

But yes short fills are 0 nic and you add nicotine to it. Ideally 3mg but you can add 2 bottles to a 50ml short fill to get it to 6 (or just under). If you want a higher nic level shortfalls arent ideal as they dilute the flavour

I would like to vape 20mg strength although I could probably get away with slightly less as I have been smoking about 6mg without realising it by adding 2 x10ml bottles of nic salt shots to a 50ml shortfill. You may wonder what my problem is but it was only today that I put a 10ml pre mixed 20mg salt in a new pod as a matter of interest and found it far closer to satisfying my cravings having up until recently been a heavy smoker.
Since I started this thread I have been doing a bit of primary school maths and have concluded that a ratio of 1 1 2 pg/vg nicotine would get me near to my desired strength. Adding 10ml of flavouring to the mix? . If this was not too way off I could then try a 50/50 shortfill / nic shot mix to use up my excess short fills until I go full on diy. Probably the flavour would not be there but I could experiment with that by buying some concentrates.
I realise this thread shows how naive I am but I'm trying to avoid just chucking the whole lot in the bin.

when it comes to straight diy , you'll have your base, vg/pg your flavourings either a mix of different ones you choose, or a single stand alone flavour,a oneshot, which is a pre made combination of flavours , for example a strawberry milk, it would have all the different flavours to taste like a strawberry milk, flavours are pg based

it would still be impossible to get 20mg flavoured juice , for example, 100ml of juice , you would need about 20% flavouring (20ml) then the rest would need to be 8 20mg shots (10ml bottles) giving you a total of 100ml 16mg


I'll pm you with how you can make your existing shortfills closer to what you're wanting at a higher strength, if you want
