New Mod?

I have been looking at the mech mods, if I said it right, and really like the look at them. But am I right to say I'll have to build my own coils as such?

Mechs are dangerous mods if you don't understand ohm's law and how to build so I'd recommend staying away from them especially as they offer no benefit over a regulated mod

I dont no much about that one as iam not much of a Smok fan but the Smok mods that i have had in the past never seem to last long before they pack up or the paint starts to chip off very easy...

Hi and welcome. I can only mirror what others have said about SMOK stuff. Never had much luck with them myself and their coils are crap. Mech mod wise you really have to know what you’re doing. Lion batteries can be dangerous things in a mech mod if you’re not careful. You’ll no doubt get a million answers regarding mods. Depends what you want. Light and plastics or heavy solid metal mods. Single battery mods aren’t gonna last long sub ohming so you’d need quite a few batteries. Something with two batteries may be better.

If you want a light mod have a look at the think vape thor or puma. They’re cheap and cheerful and come in a range of funky finishes. The downside is they’re all plastic and won’t take too much abuse not a mod you want to drop from any height. Voopoo drag seems to be a popular mod at the minute - old school metal box mod. I’ve got one here and I do like it. Again not expensive and a fair bit sturdier than the plastic mods. If you want something indestructible take a look at the Aegis legend bit more expensive but water/shock/dust resistant. I’d personally stay away from anything that’s less than 100 watts as this could limit what coils you’d use in your tank. Just bought a Freemax Mesh Pro Tank and love it. Nice resin finishes and good flavour especially on the triple mesh coils. Nice top fill system too. Aspire Cleito is a decent tank too with mesh coils but build quality isn’t a patch on the Freemax.

Welcome OP and I'd second this.

Recently got one myself and the battery life on it is great. you can use a lot of different manufacturers coils in the Frogman tank as well.
