New squonkers shopping list

So far i've gone for the lost vape drone and an icon rba.
Never built coils before...so was wondering about wire gauge,ohm readers,tool kits etc.

Welcome to the world of squonking. For regular coil building i find all i need is:

Wire cutters
scissors for trimming cotton
ceramic tipped tweezers
small screwdrivers and hex keys for attie posts, usually taken from attie boxes
Something to wrap the coils on, i use one of those kuro coil jigs.

I think the mod you have is regulated so you won't need an ohms reader really, if you're going to be using mechs then you will.

As for wire, your preference really, maybe pick up a couple of different types, standard clapton wire is a good starting point in my opinion.

Clapton wire usually consists of a Solid core say 24 awg , with a thinner wire say 32 awg wrapped around it. You can buy this clapton wire pre made or even try and make it yourself (not easy but youtube is your friend)

Or you can buy relatively cheap packs of pre-made coils, then you only have to put them into the posts on the deck.

Nice That Drone is a beast though, not exactly pocket friendly. If you are enjoying it try out the pico squeeze, not fully regulated so it will only push out power according to the resistance of the coil but they are really good, and for about £20 you can't go wrong. 22mm though so bear that in mind according to what RDAs you have.
