Hi guys,

As per thread title I want to get into making my own liquid but where do I start?

I was looking at some DIY starter kits is this the best way to start?

I vape at 6MG 30%PG 70% VG usually, can you recommend what I will need and reliable places to buy from ?

Thanks,

When i started just a month ago i soon realised starter kits are a rip off.You can get everything from places like darkstar,i got my nicotine and concentrates from them.PG/VG from amazon, there is plenty of info on here with what to buy and where from.I quickly went on to weighing the liquid as just using syringes gets a tad messy.Have a look on here for recommended suppliers it is a lot cheaper than a starter kit, initial outlay is high but you save a fortune and realise how cheap it is to get really nice juice.

Hey @krish123 have a look at this thread mate its got a link for everything you need pal https://www.planetofthevapes.co.uk/...ng-list-quality-pricing-discount-codes.78708/

Also recommend trying one shot concentrates till you get a bit more confident at mixing. I personally rate both chefsvapor and darkstar for oneshots mate. Here is the link to them both mate:

Also have a read through the Mixology section on here, contains lots of great info buddy. I also personally find it a hell of a lot eaiser to mix by wieght with a set of scales rather than in ml's with syringes. Normally starter kits are overpriced but they are good if you want to just get everything on one ad not have to shop around for different bits, you pay more for the convenience.

Hope that helps you out a Krish and happy mixing!

Thanks for all the replies guys very helpful.

One thing im definitely going to do is use weighing scales I understand its more accurate and less messy. can anyone recommend a good reasonably priced weighing scales?

I think your also right that DIY kits are a bit of a rip off so im going to take the time to find better deals individually.

what are these one shots then sounds interesting?

Iv heard chefsflavours are good so will probably get my flavours from there.

given that il be going down the weighing scales route what else are essentials that I will need?

I have a few glass bottles so I will reuse them.

Im really excited to make my own flavours buying pre made juice is getting so expensive!

I just hope I can make decent flavour eliquid, I have seen some videos on how to do it and it doesn't seem to difficult, any tips to getting decent flavour juice?

Thanks again guys.

Quick question about the Darkstar Onew Shot. I bought one for my 2nd mixing session. It does not say whether it's PG or VG based. It simply says mix at 22%??? Can someone help me with a ration of the other ingredients, PG/VG and Nic (72mg/ml in VG).
I like 6mg Nic and need to know how to mix this. I am guessing it's PG based as it's really low viscosity.

Cheers!

Use a mixing calculator, I've never used the PotV calculator but I know there's one linked somewhere in Mixology section, I use eJuice Me Up which I find really straightforward.
To figure out how much nic to add (or just to double check that the nic calculation is correct) use this equation: desired nic strength divided by the strength of your nic juice multiplied by the amount of juice you want to make. Eg 6mg / 72mg = 0.08333 x 100ml (amount of juice to make) = 8.33ml of nic solution, so if you wanted to make 50ml of juice the equation would be 6/72*50 = 4.17ml nic
