After a little bit of knowledge here if i may.Decided to dip my toes into the world of make my own e liquid.I have just bought the necessary ingredients and some concentrates i think i will like.My adv is RY4 so flavour apprentice RY4 was an obvious choice,have just made a 10ml bottle worth but i haven't added any nicotine yet.Same goes for capella vanilla custard v1 and glazed doughnut,mixed them all at 10% couldn't resist so had a little vape in a dripper.I respect the fact a steep will help but they are all very weak,should i wait a week or so or up the percentage of concentrate.They are all 70vg 30 g at the moment.This will change as RY4 will be for MTL other two DTL.I am not trying to run before i can walk and expect to cock it up at first just like my first coil build,and second,and various others!

Welcome to the world of mixing! Not tried the RY4 so can't comment but doughnut works for me at 18% with 3% raspberry. I hope I don't smash any dreams here but that custard only really works as a base in my opinion, it's needs more cream and sweetening,no doubt someone will be along to tell me I'm wrong though!

@Chris Hall which ry4 by tfa do you have as they do a few -
Ry4 asian, Ry4 double and Ry4 type flavour.
Generally custards and tobaccos need at least 4 weeks

I am up for any suggestions i have thought about cream or strawberry but i wanted to start off simple.I have looked at some recipes and most are complex to me,plus i have a terrible palet which doesn't help!

Got it from darkstar just says RY4, on the back of bottle it says manufactured by perfumers apprentice.

@Chris Hall I started on this custard recipe;
Custard(Capella) 10%
Dulce de leche(flavour west) 3%
Sweet cream(Capella) 4%

You can play around with that recipe or you might like it as it is! I'm happy to send you the flavours you don't have for that recipe so can give it a go? [emoji1303]

Here pal, http://vapable.com/product-category/diy/

Darkstar do a pretty good oneshot concentrate, Apple pie & custard. Might save you some trouble because all the flavour mixing has been done! Again, happy to send you some of that to try and I'm not after any money!

RY4 Asian was my ADV for many months. I typically mixed it at 5-6% and found it was good to go right off the bat with no steep. I did try it at 10% once but found it too strong. Taste buds vary of course but I certainly wouldn't call it weak at 10%. RY4 double and RY4 type I didn't like at all. The first was very clove-y and the second tasted like popcorn.

Thankyou for the kind offer but i am not a lover of apples in anyway i know mixed with custard will change the taste to some extent its just not for me.
