new to mixing help

After spending so much on liquids and now the mrs is on it i took the plunge and ordered all required to mix our own juices.
Iv knocked a few testers up today using potv calc and all seems good the only ossue i have is i can smell the nicotine. Now i no iv gotta steep it and iv got it away now but i no you all who mixed didnt just try a tank 1st lol so my question is will this subside with steeping as they all mix up together?
The nic was from the alchem in 74mg we are on hisenberg as the adv and pinkman but only have the hisenberg concentrate at the minute as i just got stung with a new fence 30meters long

how much nicotine did you use? I don't think I have ever smelt nicotine in a DIY mix.

0.4 nicotine
1.5 concentrate
2.4 pg
5.7 vg

With a 25/75 split maybe it aint only i could smell it i dont think the concentrate is the best as its an ebay job and i dont have any others to try right now

I can't see how that comes in 25/75 unless I'm missing something ?

Sorry folks working nights im always forgetting to check in.
Well what can i say
My nic is 72mg for what its worth

Lessons learnt dont be a scruff thinking you can cut corners.
The concentrate i bought was ok but as i said i could smell the nic in the mix. People at work and the mrs all said it was fine but i new it was there. Anyhow the 30ml bottle came and went so had to order some more. I decided a certain website was to be my order so the new stuff arrived and a few more concentrates added.
I knocked up a tester and wow no nic smell and better tasting.
Just like the 1st bottle got me hooked.

So trying to save money tought me a lesson you get what you pay for yes it was simular yes it vaped but missed that something.
Now im very happy with the mix and vape.
