New to mixing

Again thanks, I will take a look at your thread, how about the VG from boots? is it over the counter, what size does it come in and how much is it? and when using the calcualtor how do you decided what % of flavour to add?

200ml for something like 1.35.. the OH picked it up for me...in the cough medicine aisle, says BP Glycerine on the front. They might ask you at check out, just tell em your making soap bubbles or something


Flavouring percentages are different based on every flavour as there are so many.... heres a little guide http://wiki.planetofthevapes.co.uk/wiki/Guide_To_Flavouring its not all inclusive yet but will give you an idea.

Start out small, then work your way up. I like strong flavours, so I mix higher than other people.

At a 50/50 mix how many ml could I make? and would a 50/50 mix be ok?

depending on your final mg requirement

You could end up with roughly
100ml 36mg nicotine

200ml 18mg Nicotine

400ml 9mg nicotine


But for those higher mls, you will need more than 1 bottle of 10ml concentrate

so say you want to go for 200ml 16-18mg Nic, you will need 20ml of concentrate if you are mixing at 10%

Youd mix the flavours before hand to get what you wanted... so say you wanted a stronger RY4 with a hint of caramel, you mix say 3 parts RY4 to 1 part Caramel

Sniff test, i dab a wee bit on my finger and do a lick test if its all right, then I mix that into my nic base.

Perfect it in 5ml samples first before mixing into a larger quantity.

Well I now have everything I need to get going, Regarding flavoring what is a good % to start at, I understand that all flavours are different and so are peoples tastes, but what would be a good starting point?

I find 5% is a good start, and as KMS has said, 5ml tester to start. Don't be tempted to add flavours too soon. What tastes weak at first mixing will mellow and increase over a day or few days. I mixed 200ml of a juice at Christmas and it has steeped to have such a strong taste than I water it down with no flavour nic juice by 75%!

I think I have invented vaping cordial! That was at an original flavouring content of 10%.

I find the Capella flavours are head and shoulders above the other flavours I have too.
