What's new

New to mixing

I find 5% is a good start, and as KMS has said, 5ml tester to start. Don't be tempted to add flavours too soon. What tastes weak at first mixing will mellow and increase over a day or few days. I mixed 200ml of a juice at Christmas and it has steeped to have such a strong taste than I water it down with no flavour nic juice by 75%!

I think I have invented vaping cordial! That was at an original flavouring content of 10%.

I find the Capella flavours are head and shoulders above the other flavours I have too.

Hope thins helps. Lee

Thanks for the response I have some DV tobaco flavour at the mo, I was going to start at 10%

Also does this sound right as a mix

PG 52mg - 1.7ml

Pg 0 nic - 1.3ml

Vg 0 nic - 1.5ml

Flavour - 0.5ml

For a 5ml mix at 18mg 70/30 pg/vg

Sounds bang on! Confirmed it with my calculator.

Personally, I wouldn't go as high as 10% with a tobacco, but give it a go and see what you think - you can always water it down if you need to with some no flavour 18mg. :D

I would rather have to little than too much I will start at 5%, Tyvm

Sorry one last question, If i was using 2 flavours, tobacco and caramel, should I up it to 8%? 5% tobacco and 3% caramel or just stick to 5% overall

Good idea mate. :D You'll find it will change in taste over a period if time. Good luck, and let us know what you come up with. :D

To be honest, I use a calculator and decide what flavours I want to taste stronger etc. Then I put them at 5, 3, 3% etc., so I am a bit hit and miss with flavours.

For two flavours, I would be inclined to go 3% and 2%.

Again thanks, I will report back with my findings

You may find that the tobacco is a much stronger flavour than the caramel. The only tobacco I have successfully gone up to 10% with is DVs Virginia. Most have been good between 1.5 and 4%

I am going to try 2% tobacco 3% caramel and see how I go from there
