Hi,

So I'm a new vaper. Here are my experiences and tips to help other new vapers.
I took to vaping after a friend recommended i try it. I bought an Aspire pockex for £25
and started. Though it was not the device for me, it was okay as a start and only £25.
It has a small 2ml tank and gets hot during charging and after only 2 tokes the mouthpiece gets hot,
and too hot to vape until 20 / 30 seconds of cooling.

I use less nicotine, started at 6mg e juice and now onto 3mg.
I feel healthy and fit.
No ash all over the place, no stinky smoke in my house.
It is much cheaper than smoking, and can be much much cheaper if you make your own ejuice and cheaper still if you re-build your coils.
Apparently 90% healthier, well at 20% it would have had my attention.
I had no issues changing from cigs to vaping and i was immediately changed. Though i still had some cigs while vaping at first, i couldn't wait to finish them off and never looked back. It still shocks me that after so many years of smoking i could just put them down and not go back. Gives me hope that one day i could stop vaping also.

What is your preference Mouth to lung or Direct lung?? Mine is direct lung.
This will help you decide on which device you want.

Try a cheap pen style device first to see whether you like it or not.
My recommendation is the Joyetech Unimax 25 which cost me £30 from China but takes a few days to arrive.
or £50 from the U.K though as it is new there are not many stockists.

Try a few different e juice flavours to see which mix you prefer. more PG means thinner liquid which leaks from bottom airflow tanks, however is fine for more VG based e juice as it is much thicker. I use 60PG 40VG so only use top airflow tanks to avoid leaks.

In the mean time buy some e juice from a shop or reputable company found here. I use Darkstar which is very good. Also darkstar do a good 35% discount code which can be found here, but not sure when they have this offer on, try to catch it though, maybe even ask them when they will do the next one.

Buy some VG, PG, nicotine and then choose some flavour concentrates. When i started vaping i couldn't be bothered to make my own e juice and thought it would be a pain. However after some research i bought some and tried it. Now i rarely buy e juice and make my own. It does take time to steep (a week or two) depending on the type of e juice, however some single flavours can be made and vaped immediately and after a few days get better.

1 litre of PG, 1 litre of VG and 100ml of nicotine to start, then choose your flavours. This is plenty to last you a while and get you started. Use a calculator online to find out how much you need to mix to get your desired mix of PG, VG, nicotine and e juice flavour concentrate. Try simple single concentrate flavours at first and only make small amounts to get your skills better. I use at least 20% flavour concentrates thought many use only 10%, so it's personal taste, hmm tasty!!

The first juice i tired was vampire vape strawberry, raspberry and blackcurrent.
All were nice but i loved the blackcurrent which is nice and strong in flavour.

Make sure you use this forum to ask questions and get answers to your questions.
there is a world of info on here and many whom will help.

now you can build your experience and vape away.
It is cheap and safe, just remember not to leave vape juice lying around as there was a dog which passed away as the owner left his e juice in reach of the dog, whom chewed, swallowed the e juice and passed away from nicotine overdose.

The options are endless rda, rdta, squonker and so on. So start simple and build your way up. The flavours also are endless. Make your own standard flavour or go mad and mix up every flavour you have and make your own unique flavour no one else likes but you!!

I prefer compact simple device with a good size tank so i am not always refilling e juice. 2ml was just way too small and now i use a 5ml tank which is adequate. I travel a lot so a good battery life and large tank which does not leak is a must for me. Though max VG (or high VG) e juice does not leak with a bottom airflow tank, it is not for me as it makes me feel sick. So try a few and see which you prefer as some are allergic to PG. PG carries flavour better so tastes nicer, certainly for me.

If you are on a budget then go for a rebuildable device and build your own coils as well as making your own e juice. Though it seems hard and maybe dangerous, it is not if you do it in the right way. Use an ohm meter and test your coils before use. Watch some utube video's to see how simple it is. Some people dont have the time or just plain cannot be bothered to make their own coils however, if you need to save money it is a good option to look at. I have paid £2 per coil for my Unimax 25 which seems quite cheap to me so i'm happy buying them, i just need to see how long each coil lasts.

I hope this info is useful for new vapers and people considering vaping.
It is basic info for new users to get you on your way.
