New Vape shop in Reading

We have now agreed with an agent to take on a shop at 621 Oxford Road, Reading, opposite the Royal Albion pub. It has one parking space directly outside the shop but all of the streets around the shop have parking available so it's pretty easy to drive to. It's also on the main number 17 bus that runs through Reading every few minutes. We should be signing the agreement at 2pm tomorrow and moving in during the first or second week of September.
I need to check with the pub on the opposite side of the road to see if it is vape friendly. Fingers crossed it is so we can arrange some regular vape meets.
I'll update this thread as I get nearer to opening day.

621 Oxford Road,Good choice,you can get the punters as they come out of the knocking shop a few doors away. I will pay you a visit next time I'm down that way to see my Dad.

I did notice a shop with blanked out windows a few doors up. If you do visit us make sure you walk into the right shop or you might get more than you bargain for. I wonder if they have a vaping policy

Well, we've done it, the lease on the new vaping shop has been signed. We get the keys on September 5th and it should take about 2 weeks to get our displays and stock in place. So we should be open around 20th September. Hope to see quite a few of you next month if you can make it.

Cheers Bootneck, good to meet you too. It's a shame we couldn't have all met up at Vapefest. Just in the middle of spending every penny I have on stock at the moment to try and prepare for the shop opening. Look forward to seeing you there.

We were informed a few minutes ago that our landlord cannot provide us the Oxford Road shop due to unforseen problems. We will now be opening at 35 Prospect Street, Caversham, Reading.
The good news is that we will probably get this shop a couple of weeks earlier, hopefully nearer the beginning of September. It is currently operating as a Nail and Beauty shop so it is really nice inside. There is a really cheap pay and display carpark about 1 minute walk from the shop and there are also a couple of free car parking spaces scattered around but not directly outside the shop.
Not sure yet, but there may also be space for a small vaping lounge at the front of the shop. I'll have to check out the vaping policy at the pub 100 yards up the road.

Well, we finally get the keys to the new vaping shop tomorrow. It will take us about a week to get it set up ready for our official opening. I'll keep our website updated as to the opening day. The "Prince of Wales" pub, about 50 metres up the road have told us that they are vape friendly so we hope to get some vape meets set up on a regular basis once we are up and running. There is a good size, cheap, pay and display carpark 1 minutes walk from the shop. The 1st half hour is free and it's also free before 10am and after 3pm I think. I have put a map up on our website showing where we are and how to get to the car park.
