New vaper!

Afternoon all! I've been vaping for just over a month. I found this forum through Google and I'm happy that I did. Hopefully you might be able to answer some questions for me as I find all the language around vaping confusing. [emoji16]

I've been a smoker for about 10 years, but only smoking about 10 a day. I decided to try and quit using vaping due to the amount of money I was spending.

I went to my local vape shop and was recommended the Aspire Pockex as a starter kit.

It has done the trick and I've not had a cigarette for over a week.

However, I've now found that I quite like vaping and would like it to become a hobby. However, as I mentioned above I'm quite confused about all the different terms used in vaping.

Now that my craving seems to be under control I'd like to upgrade to a more powerful kit. I would welcome any suggestions.

Welcome @nottsbloke and well done! I wont advise you on kit as im still looking for my perfect vape lol, lots of reading of the forum will help you understand whats what, 4 years vaping and I still feel like a novice in comparison to alot on here

and to the planet ........ the best advice i can give you at the moment is take vaping one step at a time what i mean by that is you have only been vaping for a week stick with the kit you have before you go out and start spending to much money on mods n tanks you may find in a few weeks that vaping is not for you then all you have done is wasted loads of money hopefully you will stick at vaping and enjoy the world of vaping but at the moment i would just take it one step at a time for starters you have come to the right place for all the advice you need you can ask anything you want to no and a ape will get back to you to give you the help you need good luck mate and hope to speak again sometime............

I went to Eco Vape on Upper Parliament Street after a recommendation by a friend. They were very helpful and spent a long time with me.

Unfortunately I can't come to the meet this weekend as I'm away visiting relatives. [emoji849]

Thanks for all the help so far. I'm just wanting some ideas so when I take the step into vaping as a hobby then I know what I'm looking for!
