New vendor wanting to say hello!

Hi guys,

We just launched our website earlier this week and thought we'd make an account here and introduce ourselves. I've personally had numerous PotV accounts over the years, but we thought it best to make an official one for the company.

Our name is Equality Liquid (equalityliquid.com) and we focus on producing high-quality and affordable e-liquid. We started the company after working for various other manufacturers and retailers over the years (amazing how much the industry has changed) and, naming no names, getting sick of seeing low quality and generally crappy tasting liquid being sold at stupid prices to customers. So we did the classic "we could do it better ourselves" schtick and put our money where our mouth was and now we're here.

Our business philosophy is based on fairness and equality, for the customer and for our staff. We've priced everything as reasonably as we can and we hope to grow over the coming 12 months to a point where we can expand the business and hopefully start employing local staff paying actual living wages and generally just doing the right thing. We all know from experience that the people that make businesses work often don't get paid fairly for their efforts, so we're hoping to change that idea. We know what its like and we hated it, so we want to try and be a little more.. dare I say it.. Equal.

So yeah hopefully I can get to know some of you better over the coming months and I'd absolutely love to get any feedback on what we are doing if you have it.

Site looks wicked BTW. Not convinced you can bundle the nic and juice in separate bottles to avoid TPD regs though, I think Trading Standards are classing bundled products as a single item and therefore a juice that should be notified before it can be sold?

Hi Junglist,

We're not 100% convinced either if we're totally honest and its been a major bone of contention for us the last few months. We absolutely want to do everything as transparent as we can - even our bottles are see through! To that end we've spoken to a couple experts on the legal language used in the TPD to try and maneuver around the best we can. We are committed to offering 50ml and 100ml bottles at affordable prices, so we're hoping there is some wiggle room for us, otherwise we may have to rethink things. We absolutely loathe 10ml bottles and feel they represent everything contemptible about the TPD so regardless of whether we pivot, we are committed to offering larger size bottles.

Thanks for your kind words regarding the site, really means a lot to us. And yeah there's a few cheeky references dotted around our various flavours! We're actually super proud of Plumbus though, it's a great vape.

me agree with the guvnor above, the site looks great with an easy layout.
i think you will have issues with the nic though especially if you are adding it while mixing as that breaks tpd laws and can only be sold in 10ml tested bottles which at last look was £2500 per flavor.

the only way around it is to offer shortfills and 18mg nic shots which cant be bundled with the juice but have to be added by the customer to the same order. fookin stupid idea if you ask me.
so to make it simple a 60ml bottle with 50ml in with added 1 nic shot makes it 60ml 3mg
same for 120ml bottle with 100ml juice and 2 nic shots makes 120ml 3mg
then problems start with 6mg as its only 40ml juice with 2 nic shots to make 6mg
9mg will be a nightmare unless the juice is much stronger as once youve added 4 or 6 bottles of unflavored nic in vg/pg the original juice flavor will almost be totally lost.

Does look good. Particularly the banana one and the peche mode made me smile. Are you adjusting flavouring to mix preferences. As mrdj said it will be a little wishy washy if not.

Really heartened at the response you guys are giving re the website and flavours, please follow that through with some orders We aren't above begging for new customers haha!

@MrDJ The nicotine is a separate shot and comes from a TPD certified vendor as we couldn't afford to do it any other way. We're considering removing the 9mg for the reasons you mentioned, but we want to try and get some data about how many people would order it before making any decisions. The concentrate ratio's are fairly high in our liquids to avoid any issues with washed out flavour.

@eyeball kid Glad you liked the names! And yeah each liquid is made up individually to ensure a consistent flavour - people vaping across all nicotine strengths should have an identical experience (edit: flavour wise that is) in our eyes so we are happy to do that, even if it takes a bit more time at our end right now.

@weepapagirlrappers Ochil Chills is really solid, we like to think all our liquids are all-day-vapes, but I think that falls into the category the most. It has a lot going on, but its pretty tasty, particularly with a bit of menthol too if that's your bag.

To answer your question, unfortunately our VG/PG ratio is static at the moment. We sort of stuck to our guns to deliver what we like first, before offering too many options. As much as we'd like to serve everyone and meet as many preferences as possible, as we're just starting we wanted to try and keep things relatively simple. But we'll definitely look into custom VG/PG ratios if there is a demand for it.

that solves that then using nic shots.
9mg hmm, not seen hardly any posts asking about 9mg but saying that there are millions that vape now and not on the forum so there could still be lots out there.
the majority we see are new vapors who need 12 or 18mg or the cloud chasers that are on 3-6mg
im guessing the only way to keep 9mg is to make a stronger concentrated flavor just for that amount of nic shots.

Looks good, interesting/ unusual branding job there.

Two observations (if yr taking feedback here):
1: Where is the 12 mg or 18 mg ?
2: The shipping costs aren't very accessible / transparent.
