What's new

New vendor wanting to say hello!

@WaitFor1t88 Just a cleanroom, not going to lie we are super bare bones at the moment. Having worked in a few proper labs I know we have a long way to go. We really don't want to be wanky about what we do, but we also don't really want to get to a point of using a big bottling machine to do everything and just pressing a button. We understand that there is a huge argument to be said about efficiency, consistency, etc. of mechanizing everything - but we really enjoy making liquid and part of our company ethos is doing things by hand.

Now if we could afford a big fancy bottling machine then maybe we'd have a different argument, but we're starting from the bottom and working our way up. And I personally hope that the mission we have gets adhered to at all stages of our development as a company. We started it out wanting to be idealistic because to us its really important to have integrity as a company. Aaand I'm ranting again.

@simong You could be absolutely correct. It's one of those post-work-pint convo's we had numerous times and of course no one really has the foggiest (pun action!) clue about what will actually occur. Interesting point though.
Nothing wrong with running and enjoying your own business. But now you've played out your pitch get some pics of your clean room together. Our own mr teatime will be along shortly. Lol.
Hope you do well buddy. Always good to see new makers and flavours.

Hi,

whats your prep area like please, lab, cleanroom? also is the price vat added, cheers
Just to echo what the above young man asked, is it possible to expalin what exactly you consider a “clean room”

Some of he established vendors on here have invested 10’s of thousands of £££ and are quite willing to expalin there set up To is....

I do understand that your a new new start up and you maybe don’t have the facilities of some of the big boys...

perhaps you could add some photos https://www.planetofthevapes.co.uk/...s/vendors-how-clean-is-your-prep-area.109818/

what about the vat thing, as I dont see any business info on your site?

@EqualityLiquid I think you are making a mistake by thinking about one type of customer, as mentioned by @simong The hipster craze will soon be done with just like all the other trendy and not so trendy fads of the past. So thinking ahead you would be better catering for MTL vapers and DTL vapers alike and realise that vaping is and will become the main tool for people wanting to quit smoking rather than it becoming a show off, bragging rights sport, which in my humble opinion is the sort of thing that gets vaping a bad name.

Hi @EqualityLiquid
Just had a browse on your site and it looks very user friendly.

Noticed a couple of issues though so please dont shoot me for pointing them out.
These are statements taken from your site.

Quote
Does my e-liquid have an expiry date?
If stored in a cool and dark environment most e-liquids will last up to a year. We find that our products only get better over time.
Un quote
This may raise some questions like how long is time?
Or someone saved one of your juices for three years cos you said it would get better but it went off, tasted rank, and the nicotine turned bitter etc....

Quote
What is the difference between VG and PG?
All e-liquids are made from a combination of vegetable glycerine (VG) and propylene glycol (PG).

Un quote
This is not true cos you can get 100% VG juices or 100% PG juices.
You can buy all of the ingredients in VG or you can buy all the ingredients in PG.

Hope it goes well for you and there are some extremely knowledgable apes on here that will help with advise, feed back, and reviews if you need them.

Hello @EqualityLiquid , Nice to meet you mate !!!

:D

on a more positive note ...... keep the 3 shot versions, I usually vape 12mg but 9mg is ok (or even 10mg if I get 20mg shots) also by buying PG, VG or PG/VG mixed nic shots it's possible to make the liquids a higher PG than the base liquids..... it's all a bit of a faff, especially if you are just starting vaping but it gives people options at least.

I never even saw 9 mg as an option anywhere else.
If the whole narrative put across in part of this thread ends up being somehow sadly prophetic I'd just take the
more straightforward and less complicated route of just ' not vaping '.

Instead spend the money on yearly holidays on the French Riviera maybe...
