Newbie Dripper but now fully converted......

Not sure if this is a tip, or whether I'm doing it wrong but I found that I struggled with thin wire in the dripper. Mine came with 0.16mm wire. The resistance built up too quickly and I wasn't getting enough contact with the wick. I've ordered some thicker wire. As it was I wasn't getting as good a vape as on my genny.

I've heard of people doing this with getting the batteries out of the laptop. Do they have info of power etc on the side ?

And if you have a vamo I wouldn't stack them

I may be wrong but just see that and just worries me a bit
I'm sure someone can come along and put things strait as I'm not 100% sure about it

Thanks for the concern. I'm going to get the multimeter on them and see what it says. I won't stack them. I put one in the vamo and all I got was the low voltage message. A quick charge and try again. If no good, I'll get rid. They have some number that don't produce any results when googled. Maybe I should just buy some new 18650s. I'll let you know how I get on. That is if I don't hospitalise myself trying to save a tenner :-)

Yeah tbh with batteries and chargers I think there the priority when deciding what your vape budget goes on as I'd rather have a mod go wrong than a battery failure of the worst case

I'm a mech mod convert of a few months now and think I spent more time looking into the right batteries than anything els and if I use unprotected I always use a safety fuse it helps my paranoia of the just in case lol

I couldn't resist using these laptop batteries in the vamo. They've been very well behaved. Ive got some Torchys coming so I promise the old batteries will go in the box ;-)
