Hello @philabos, Nice to meet you Mate !!!

Thank you for the warm welcome all.
We will be staying in Windsor as we have before. Much more reasonable lodging and a quick train ride to London. We also found a pub there we really like.
I was unaware of the 10ml restriction. What is the purpose of that rule?

As a couple of the others have said it's a crappy rule.
Bring some USA stuff with you to get over the early days, there is no law against that.
The rules only cover what can be sold by an EU business.

Hi @philabos and welcome to the Planet.
hope you enjoy your stay on the other side of the big pond.

the 10ml bottles is crazy idea. you can still buy certain makes in 30ml and 50ml but all in 10ml bottles.
there is another option though. short fill zero nicotine and you can buy 50, 60, 100ml and then add a 18mg nicotine shot.
we also have the stupid 2ml max size tanks but if youve got 5ml tanks then all is good as they cant do anything about it its just cant buy bigger now in the uk so we buy from china.

just in case going through customs. if you have the skull and crossbones on the label then they could be seized so just decant into a clear bottle. max size bottles through customs is 100ml

Thanks. The largest bottle I would have is 60ml. Some sell 120ml so appreciate the tip!

It’s one of the most annoying rules of the TPD - the justification for it (hastily made up to justify, rather than genuine IMO) is the dose makes the poison - and a child or dog or idiot or whatever will do less harm if they drink a 10ml bottle of nic containing liquid than a 100ml bottle.

Meanwhile, we continue to sell bleach and other chemicals in much larger bottles - under the same CLP warnings etc

In reality - it’s so big pharma and big tobacco can jump in the market on a level playing field to the existing companies

Only like the rest of the regulation it’s failed.
