ni200 coil life execptancy..

so I built a ni200 coil and left it to sit for around 30 to 40 days after putting it in a subtank plus. As I didn't like it at the time..

I went back to it around 6 days ago and thought...ok that's vapable.. but I've noticed the wire on my heatvape invader has gone from .15 ohms gradually down to .09 ohms in the space of of 4 or 5 days.

Is this level of degredation normal ? Is it due to the gunk build up on the coil.. is it due to my shtty build ?

Any thoughts ?

The wire has not degraded as the resistance has gone down not up, maybe it's shorting between loops or the original resistance reading was when the coil was hot or there was a poor connection.
