Ni80 wire

Don't know what to build with it.
Ni80 round .16mm and ni80 ribbon .5x.1. Thinking about it that much I been dreaming about it.
The one I'm thinking of now is a 4 ply twisted core with the ribbon wrapping it. Sorta like a Clapton.
Anybody done anything like it before? Is it worth the trouble???

The 0.16mm is probably useful for wrappng claptons, either get thicker 0.4/0.45mm wire for the cores.

Or you could try getting 4 or 5 lengths of the ribbon and wrapping them with the round wire to make a thing. Twisted Messes has a video tutorial on something similar. Well worth a viewing!!

Just thought of another 1.
Wrap the ribbon wire in the ribbon wire. Then wrap that in the round wire. [emoji2]

The ni80 doesn't seem as strong as kanthal though.

Just watched it. It's 1 of the coolest looking wires when it's being twisted. Will try n post some pics when I've done what I don't know what I'm doing. Haven't got access to my drill now so gonna be interesting.
