Hi everyone,

I have a friend whose husband vapes, she's been interested in trying it but didn't like the nicotine and the affect it had on her. She and I were wondering if the non-nicotine flavours still had the head rush and burning throat?

She's looking to satisfy cravings and is a musician so doesn't want the burning throat feeling that happened when she tried her husband's vape...she's seen a 50/50 PG/VG mix that she'd like to play around with and see if it's for her, but obviously if it's gonna have the same effect without the nicotine then it's not something she wants to do...

Thanks for any info

Joey

The big thing you lose with zero nic is the throat hit, so she should be cool with that.

A 50/50 blend should be the best as pg carries flavour better but VG produces more vapour. (Hope I got that the right way around).

Not tried any so can't comment on how they taste.

Thank you for the response, that was what I was hoping to hear :D I shall pass it onto her and see if she likes it and then she'll become "one of us"!

I agree with justdave on PG carrying the flavour better than VG. But from what I know PG is responsible for throat hit and VG the vapour!!
Give 50/50 a go but if still too much throat hit switch to a mostly VG blend and see if that helps.

As @JustDave just said she shouldn't get any headrush or throat hit but she may well get a dry mouth as many vapers do.
Remind her to keep her fluid levels up. Also some peeps have a bit of an allergy to PG (and some to VG evidently)
See http://www.planetofthevapes.co.uk/forums/showthread.php/30060-Nose-irritation

p.s. PG for flavour & VG for vapour as JustDave said.

Thanks for the info :D I have her on skype right now and she's browsing for flavours! I really appreciate the info from everyone :D Her husband was the one who told me to get the Kanger EVOD starter kit which she said she'll get if she ends up liking it so she has a good amount of equipment to try it out..she said to say thanks and that although her husband is on the G+ site and knows a lot, but he's asleep since it's late there! You guys are great!
