Well he's sent it back for a replacement so hopefully he'll be a happy vaper soon as he's gettin called "Dud Vaper" at work lol. So anthonyb how did you tweek the batt. tops? Just in case lightning strikes twice! I took delivery of an ego X6 battery today as I'm a clumsy oaf and sat on my 4 day old battery and broke it.Its certainly a more robust battery as the connector is recessed into the casing itself.Its the same power as my old battery (1300 mah) but it seems sooooo much better at getting a smoother vape from the Aspire ET-S. Will keep you all posted on how he gets on,thanks again folks!

Mine are Efest. I carefully push a very thin screwdriver though one of the holes, so the tip was at the center of the battery top. Then twisted it slightly, so the middle of the top came up about 1-1.5mm. This small amount was all that was stopping mine from working. This was done after failing to adjust the contact in the vamo, if anyone is wondering. This problem for me only arose after the batteries had been charged with the nitecore i4 charger. Where working find before, and seem to be ok after charging since.

Update-friends replacement Kamry came today and its working fine
