Nose irritation

Hi
I'm fairly new to vaping, but i've noticed the laft few days that sometimes when i vape i get a slight irritation with my nose. It's strange, is this common/unusual?

Must say, i don't know the scientific facts about this but i have noticed a general trend of it watching some other vapers.

What juice are you using & what PG/VG ratio is it ??

I think it's quiet common! No somethin I have had but I have certanly heard quiet a few ppl say'n they get a dry sore nose!. I think but don't quote me in this! Lol it's somethin 2 do with the VG . Tho if I'm wrong on that I'm sure some1 that has exp the same thing will b along & set it straight.

It is usually due to the PG - some peeps have an allergy to pg - try going to higher vg ratio juice.
Or it could just be your sense of smell is returning

The juice i have at the moment is 50/50. If it's a common thing then i'll not worry and carry on vaping

I will have to get some high VG juice, does it become quite viscous though?

Hopefully it is just my sense of smell changing, i've not really noticed anything though apart from the slight irritation.

Your 50/50 pg/vg liquid ought to ok really. That is quite a high vg ratio. Mine are 60/40 pg/vg. It's likely to be the pg in there that's causing the irritation, it's a known dehydrator. Make sure you keep your water intake up at sensible levels.

You might find that some of the more commercially produced liquids are worse than the more hand nurtured ones...I know i did so i sacked 'em !

My usual liquids are of a higher pg ratio, I guess I will have to find what suits me best.

I have found I am always quite thirsty since I have started vaping, I drink gallons of tea at work lol.
