Will these help?
What does the display do when you press the fire button?
Will these help?
Good post. I looked up to see what or if Mooch had tested them. He has and rates them at just 8amp!I didn't look at the battery pic, but the batteries could be the answer.
AWT are NOT a battery manufacturer. All of their batteries are rewraps and any old cell under that wrap. The claims of 3,500mah and 35 Amps are nonsense. 35 Amp 18650 batteries do not exist. If that cell has 3500mah then the absolute maximum current it can provide is 10 AMPS.
With a pair of 3,500mah batteries the maximum realistic power they can provide is 50 Watts when they are fully charged. As the battery charge drops the power to the tank will gradually reduce. If the batteries are old their performance will suffer so they will be even weaker.
I suggest that @aman FULLY CHARGES those batteries and tries to fire the mod at 50 Watts max. If it fires the performance will be lethargic, but it should identify if the mod is working. If the mod does fire at 50 Watts then those batteries are the problem. Either way those AWTs are the wrong batteries for that mod - they simply NOT capable of providing the current that mod needs for high wattage vaping.
If you have bought those batteries recently - take them back for a refund as the specifications on the sleeve are a dangerous fantasy; and for reference - 35 Amp 18650s DON'T EXIST; if you are unfamiliar with 18650s the following are REAL specs-
30 Amp - the maximum capacity this cell will have is 2,100mah
25 Amp - Molicel P28a batteries claim 2,800mah, but others 2,600mah max.
20 Amp - 3,100mah (generally labelled as 3,000mah capacity)
10 Amp - 3,600mah (generally labelled as 3,500mah capacity)
If you see ANY 18650 claiming more than 30 Amps; claims any higher than 3,500mah; claims any higher combination of higher mah/Amps than those listed above - DO NOT BUY as the rewrap company selling them are putting ridiculously high numbers on the sleeve to tempt the gullible to buy and you can pretgty much guarantee that the cells under the fancy wraps will be shit.
If you have any friends that vape I suggest you ask to try a pair of their batteries to see if your mod mysteriously comes to life, but either way - those are not the correct batteries you should be using. I suggest any of the following -
Molicel P28a, MolicalP26a or Sony VTC5a - all 25Amp and good for 150 Watts for a pair
Samsung 30Q. Sony VTC6, Samsung 25R - all 20 Amp and good for 120 Watts a pair
Don't be tempted to go for the highest mah capacity batteries - high Amp current is far more important for high power Direct Lung vaping.
