the batteries you are using is 20a, and the coil resistance you stated is way above the counties discharge of the battery, i would suggest that you use a molicel p26a as its continues current is 25a as mooch stated in his table, and not to exceed the stated current on your battery. for safety try to stay away by 5a from the stated current.

Built a couple more and now have a reading of 0.31... I feel safe now haha... thank you all for your help
