Ohms of coils Vs Battery Drain Vs Vapor production

Seedy

So that kind of explains why I am getting such a quick response from my 2.4ohm .20 Kanthal without draining my battery. So if I had dual 2.4 ohm .20 Kanthal I should get the vapor of 1.2 ohms without compromising my battery life in theory

I'm no expert but I'd say you'd use twice as much power with 2 coils as less ohms uses more power.

and thats not even concidering that when you wind a coil you are making an inductor, which has resistance properties of its own. Just make what works and vapes to your liking!

Ok so I thought id try and get 1 coil right first before venturing into 2 and looking at it I dunno how I will fit 2

.32 kanthal at 10 wraps is giving me 1.6 ohms

SS mesh wick with cotton top juicing great

Takes forever (5 sec s) to fire up then gives a crap half hearted vape

Tried .20 which was quicker but still crap

What am I doing wrong?

Too many wraps in my opinion. I use 6 on .32mm which comes out at 1.4ohms. Also, have you opened up the airhole? It comes small and needs drilling. Some like 1.5mm while I like 2mm. More air means more vapour.

if 10 wraps is giving me 1.6, how can I get 1.4 from 6 wraps?

Would I need a wider coil?

Still can't drill it :(

I just tried it and got 1.1ohm which my Vamo didnt like :(
