OK to interrupt battery charging until morning???

Have my 18650 batteries charging now in the nitecore i4. But they won't be charged by tonight as i'm going to bed early, can i unplug and carry on charging morning, or does this damage batteries?? Thanks....

They should be fine, we had a 8hr powercut wednesday so had no choice but to stop charging. charged all me batteries yesterday and they seem fine.

Might still be advisable to remove the batteries from the charger though, rather than just turning it off

Normally after a full recharge I just turn off charger at wall without removing batteries first, is this wrong?

It's probably OK with a Nitecore, but I'd probably remove them anyway in case there's a chance that they'll slowly discharge if connected up. Tubbyengineer will probably know.

The other night my batteries hadnt charged when i went to bed. Told OH to switch them off when he came. They did start to discharge. But they are fine

should be fine buddy i do with my nitecore and yeah you should pull em from the charger

I just realised now that if you're only charging two batteries then it goes in port 1 & 3 or 2 & 4, and you don't charge one battery only, no wonder batteries were getting hot before....first time i read the manual, tonight.....
