Hi All,
Like probably most of you, I'm a long time smoker looking to quit or find a "healthier" alternative to the deadly weed.
Tried quitting cold turkey before without success :(

After seeing a few friends & colleagues take up vaping and also the recent Horizon documentary, I'm feeling confident that vaping is the best option for me.

I've just bought an imecig mini e-cigarette, but I'm really confused with the large variety of flavours, nicotine strengths & manufacturers of e-liquids available. I'm currently smoking roll-ups and there is only really a few tobacco manufacturers to choose from.

I am joining this forum to hopefully get some advice from the more experienced vapers amongst you.

Any help you can give is greatly appreciated :)

Thanks,
Andy.

Hi and welcome to the Planet.

me not heard of that ecig before. have you got a link as it will help others give advice on decent juice.
i highly recommend Manabush who do backy flavors infused with various fruits. they also do a new backy free range. best at low wattage and is a 50/50 mix of VG/PG which are the 2 main ingredients of eliquid.
you can find their website on my juice page https://www.planetofthevapes.co.uk/...-trusted-e-liquid-suppliers.78467/#post858319

As said, Manabush do good tobacco types. For what I consider traditional tobacco e liquid, look at House of Liquid. However, it`s amazing how quickly I went off the tobacco taste. And welcome to POTV

Hi there and welcome to the forum
the strength of nicotine you will need depends on how much you smoked and how you vape.but as a rough idea i smoked 30 plus a day rollies , i started on 18mg strength, vaping mouth to lung (much like taking a drag on a smoke) and within a month or so had reduced it to 12mg,grab a few diff strengths and you will find the right level for you
And have heard good things about manabush too,im not really a tobacco flavor vaper tho

I just watched that documentary, it had it's flaws but it came to the right conclusion so I'm not writing a letter to the Times about it. For example you need to be testing the raw flavours all all shop bought juices are made from not random bottles of juice.

Avoid menthol, aniseed and licorice, they will crack your tank. Your PG/VG mix should be 50/50, avoid ones which say high VG. Other than that pick a flavour you like the look of, mixed berries, banoffee pie, strawberry milkshake, the juice is clear so you can smoke Miss Unicorn's sparkle drops if you like the look of it and no one will ever know :) .

Thanks for the reply.
The Imecig appears to be a rebranding of the Kamry X6 Plus Mini here:
http://www.kamrytech.com/kamry-x6-plus-mini-kit.html

I bought some cheap Bull Brand Virginia Tobacco and Strawberry Mint 18mg e-liquids from Asda to give it a try. The tobacco one was pretty minging to be honest, used it with the 0.8 ohm coil that came with the Imecig.
I've since tried the strawberry one with a 0.5 ohm coil and although it is a little better, the vaping experience is not great. I find both of them to be a little harsh on both the inhale and exhale and I've been used to smoking rollies for years.

I've just ordered a 12mg pick n mix from Manabush of Powwow Sauce, Chiricahua Sun and Spiritwalker Powwow. So hopefully these will be better.
