Orchid V5??

So shopping around for am Orchid and I can't decide which to settle on. First it was between the V3 and the V4, and I thought I had settled on the V4. But then I found there is a V5 apparently, so I found a clone of that for like $16. And now I'm back to square one. Is there anyone who actually keeps up with this stuff that can shed some insight?

Is the V3, 4 and 5 actually a clone of anything? or are the 'original' clones? I always thought they were just orchid V2 bases with kayfun bits on them.

I heard the V3 is awesome, and the V4 is the same but with more capacity, and the V5 i've never heard of til now.

Yeah I hadn't heard of the V5 until today. I was pretty dead set on the V4 just because I've heard good things about it

Edit: Found its basically a V4 with a copper contact. Someone was calling it a V4+.

I've got the V3 and it does perform very well indeed, but since I want a bigger tank, I've got the V4 on the way and will offload the V3 when it turns up. Can't see there being a V5 just yet.

do fasttech sell taller chimneys ?coz i got kayfun full size tanks gathering dust .is the only difference taller chimney ?or am i wide of the mark ?

Dunno, but if they do it'll be a v4 chimney you're after.

Edit: I can't check accurately if the v2 chimney would fit as I'm vaping it as we speak, but the v2 itself is only about 2-3mm shorter than a KFL.

got a v2 coming from our chinese friends ,so i will have a looksee when it drops on my mat
