TBH out of the things I've been looking at and for simplicity and cost i don't see much extra merit from a simple cable tie.
Or the velcro versions.

Easy to clean / disinfect, but I'm not sure how long the bendy bit would last before breaking.

The hair clips idea could work, but mine have always given up after a few weeks.

The spider clips would also work, the only downside is they have a metal spring keeping them together, that tends to rust / break after getting wet a few times (I only rinse / dry mine through after pinning my hair up when dying it), also the legs snap off as they get brittle.

Perhaps some version of a nappy pin, but again it's the flexing which will be an issue long term.

I'm going to try and print a similar one later, it appears it is possible with my normal PLA filament as it is printed quite thin so 'should' flex enough.
