Some of the relationship issues here baffle me. Firstly, what I spend my hard earned cash on is my own business. Secondly, I couldn't imagine spending more on vaping than smoking (maybe DIYing makes a difference). Most importantly, my OH is nothing but supportive. He came into the relationship knowing I smoked, so has never objected to that, but is really pleased I've discovered vaping (though laughs at the obsession & the EU rants at times). His sole reason for being in favour is the health benefits for me.
Oh, and for the record- this gal's shoe/bag budget is about a fiver per year on Indian accessories!

Regarding spending hours on research, I guess you could say the OH and I are both obsessives, so he can happily pore for hours over whatever his latest thing is, and I can do the same over vaping/gardening/knitting/recipes/whatever ...

I don't really have a bag/shoe/clothes budget as they don't interest me so much and I tend to spend my most of my time outdoors in wellies or clogs in the summer - I can happily discuss them with friends who farm round here

Well. Today was a bit of a shocker.
OH turned round to me and said he wants to split the bills down the middle, saving me paying them all and then having to take some of his wages just to buy stuff for myself

That way we both work and feel like we are getting money come payday.

Needless to say im up for that as i will be quids in

Just working out the logistics of it all and will then get cracking on with it (im paid monthly, him weekly)

Lucky for me my wife started vaping at the same time as me.

I pay ALL the bills, I have a second-hand, knock-off Nemesis, she has TWO Provaris!

Do I bitch about it? Of course not, I'm just glad she's not killing herself.

OH is trying really hard to get involved with my vape discussions, especially with the news the last couple of days bout the pillocks in brum with the batteries. Kinda starts like "oh i heard this thing on the news about a battery catching fire, you probably know all about it...." "yup" then i rattle off the story.... "i know you wouldnt be stupid to do that as youre good with charging..." "yup"

Still really up for vapefest and he cant wait to meet you lot

He keeps asking me for the date so he can book it off from work!

I know exactly what you mean flower, my friend posted it on FB and it made me laugh so much every time I looked at it! Cheers me right up, the look on that cat's face is priceless!
