I remember going through a "Respect" thingy for my late father.
Cynically, you could call it an arse-covering exercise.
Doesn't this apply to all in the UK?...

Perhaps The Guardian isn't giving us the full story. Bear in mind, because of Covid, there are also the risk factors for staff to take into account.
 
Consultant told my mate who is in recovery from lung cancer, that if he caught it during the first wave he was a "do not resuscitate"
He's not got a learning disability, so there are others....scary times
 
Thats sounds criminal, i suspect as well they r telling the truth, but not the whole truth tho
 
Maybe im being optimistic, but i have a hard time believing that any reputable doctor would follow that directive even if it had been the case.

well the problem was there were instances of this found to be happening when it shouldn’t have been. i think the reason the clinical guidance was updated was to clarify it. so it was never a directive, in scotland at least.
