PG or VG?

It really isn't as expensive as it seems I could suggest a few good vendors to look at for the basic supplies. Drop me a pm if your interested & I'll chuck you a few web sites to get you started :)

It's really works out cheap DIY mixing, I do a 60/40 pg vg 18mg and it works out to about 10ml for 70p

Yeah, I usually have 70/30 mix but I was shocked at how flavourless pure vg ry4 is. Good vapour though like you say.

You probably need to let it steep a bit longer.
Vg is not that useless as flavour carrier, just less fast in binding and letting the flavours diffuse.
You can compensate by adding a bit more flavour, but in my experience is mostly a matter of waiting longer, or using a magnetic agitator or other way to speed things up.
And of course, vg has a taste. You can balance that up a bit by adding bitter wizard, personally I am not too bothered.

when i first started vaping i use to use vg only as thats what the shop sold me and i soon find out that the taste was very poor so i went and got some pg liquid the taste was loads better but now i mix pg60/40vg of both witch is how i like it now.

Mentioning about ratios, previously I got stuck on using an 80/20 or 70/30 but recently have gone to 50/50, yes the flavour comes through better with PG, but I just alter the ratio of flavour and with the sweetness of VG tastes great with the added bonus of clouds on exhaling, I also found the adding vodka to be helpful at about 3 to 5% also really improving throat hit.

Hopefully this doesn't seem like a pushy thread hijack but I'm very interested in this. If I have the privileges to send a PM I will do
