PG/VG from Darkstar Vapour

I'll try some variations of PG/VG percentages. It's driving me mad. Spent so much money on different concentrates but can't seem to get anything that tastes good no matter how much I steep.

Limited mixing experience here, but I would associate a chemically taste with using too much concentrate. I would try a simple flavourless mix first, as the others have suggested. If that's not got the chemically taste, try a lower percentage of concentrate.

I bought two 5L bottles of VG and PG from Darkstar Vapour and anything I mixed tasted awful and chemically. To put it to the test I purchased some high quality concentrate that I knew a lot of people are using but I'm still getting the same awful taste. Is it possible it's poor quality PG/VG? I use darkstar base liquids all the time and have never had an adverse reaction.I also mix with tfa concentrates and 0 nic.

I was mixing Fantasy Tropical which is usually a shake and vape. I only made 10ml and left it to steep for a day but still the same result!

A day isn't gonna make much difference.
I often find freshly mixed liquids taste like you describe. Some come good in a week or so, others can take a month or more.
My advice, put it in a cupboard and forget about it for a few weeks, then try it again.

i dont mix but im guessing if you post up your mix % for the experts to advise if youve added too much or too little.

Never used their vg and pg but have a litre of 72mg vg nic from a year ago and it doesn’t taste of chemicals at all. I’d be surprised if this was your problem. As other have said, make an unflavoured mix, and it might be you are over flavouring it. That’s the usual cause of chemical taste, or just shit concentrates.

I'm glad your all praising darkstar VG just made a small concentrates order and decided to bung 5ltr of VG in the basket . .The 35% off code offset the £6 delivery.

As others have said try the vg/pg mix on its own to rule that out.

Also leave the juice till tomorrow and try it again. Then the next day, then the next and so on till you think it's steeped properly. I personally leave all of my fruits a week at least usually ten days till they're right for me but other folks can vape theirs after a day and enjoy it. It's all about your own personal taste.
