Yup,
SEALFORCE - HOME based in Dundee
Ooh, might be just what I'm looking for, for my Mountain bike fork air spring.
Had a set of Rock Shox Lyrik 2-Step forks. There is an design issue with one of the seals, that allows air to escape from the air spring chamber and collect under the top cap in the 2-step control reservoir, slowly reducing the available travel of the fork as you use them.
Mine went back to the distributor 3 times under warranty for service and each time they came back with the same fault. I even worked out what was causing the problem but they couldn't sort it with stock Rock Shox parts so built me a new set of Lyriks with a Solo Air spring.
They stopped making the 2-Step system as there was so many forks affected but I managed to get a spare 2-Step assembly, just need to find a seal that will stop the air leaking from the chamber.
Might need a quad ring or just a better material, perhaps Viton instead of NBR. Just need to get some large syringes, graduated cylinders, shock oil and a service kit then start playing with seal materials to find one that works.
I also need to do an oil change and service on my Fox DHX 5 Air rear shock with thicker oil or a shim stack change so I can tune the pro-pedal to get it working properly for my bike.
