Thanks for this pauly meatballs, just getting into mucking about with mod finishes, also looking at brushing polished ss.
Reading up on this sort of thing this looks very handy.

Looks better than putting a 510-510 adapter in a drill chuck, anyone know if there are any other cheaper alternatives?
Right, I have my microfibre cloths some Mothers Mag & Aluminium Polish, ordered some sandpaper.

Would look nice using a dremmel

When I had a mech mod worth polishing (even though it was a clone it was my pride and joy at the time) I used autosol and a dremelalike with a polishing attachment and lots of water. Takes no time at all to get a lovely shine, its messy though.
