As I pointed out though, it would have been better if the vendors on forums could have been contacted as it is fast to get a response from them. I am sure a number of us would also have added names to the list to PROVE that there is more support than that of TVECA

Unfortunately that would have probably meant missing the ENVI committee meeting which I believe is today
One interesting thing I note from FlavourArt's response to Matt Gluggles is that this bit :-
"I assure you that the Coalition members thoroughly discussed the letter, its possible implications as well as alternative options both over the week-end and during a face-to-face meeting held on Monday afternoon, 20 December, in Brussels. Given all circumstances at stake, we decided to do what has been done. And we still believe this was the right way to go."
20th of fecking December! So they sat on it for about a month!

Like I said, requests to vendors who gather on forums could have been done instantly and got a response just as quickly for addition which would have made even more noise overall.
I think the most appropriate response should be "Who the fuck are TVECA?"
They reek of corporate involvement, says he putting on global conspiracy hat which may be a bit too large but sits at a jaunty angle.
